In 1998 I moved away from home to continue my education, and my primary means of keeping in touch with my friends and family became my webcam, a Connectix QuickCam, and iVisit video conferencing software. This also became a way for me to engage with new people online. I was so taken by the various personalities I would meet, that I began capturing stills of each person as we would connect. This series of images represents these captured personalities.
