Ada's Shop is an interactive window display inspired by the computational work of Ada Lovelace. Passers by are encouraged to call a number from their mobile phone. Various choices made on the keypad cause excerpts from Ada's exchanges with Charles Babbage to be read, as Victorian Paper Theatre elements spin within the window. Ada's Shop is currently on display within the front windows at the Mid-Manhattan Library at 455 Fifth Avenue in New York City from December 1, 2010 - January 2, 2011.
Ada's shop was produced with Marianne Petit.
